Is Chuck's
Better Home a franchise?
A.
No we are not.
We are an independent licensed contractor with over 30 years experience.
Without the heavy lead and royalty fees associated with a national franchise
we are better able to control costs for our customers. And there are no
hidden "front load" fees for new customers.
Q.
What
are "front load" fees?
A.
When a new
customer calls for service, some franchises charge a hidden front load
fee. This is in anticipation of the customer not doing repeat business. This
has never been and never will be our policy.
Q.
If I
call for service will a sales person visit to provide a quote?
A.
No, We do not
employ sales people. Chuck himself provides all the quotes and looks forward
to meeting all his potential new customers.
Q.
Will
a work crew perform the work?
A.
Chuck performs
all the work himself. On occasion a skilled helper may be call in for
assistance.
In that case, Chuck will be on the premises at all times to make sure things
go smoothly

What
if I only have a few minor repairs. Will Chuck's still perform the
work?
A.
Absolutely!
We're happy to assist you in any way we can. We do it all and no job is too
small.

In what
towns does Chuck's perform work?
A. Chuck's
works in Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield counties in Connecticut.
Q.
Do
I need a building permit and who will acquire it?
A.
A permit is
not required for repairs in most cases but with larger jobs you may need
one. In that case we can acquire it for you if you prefer.
